Three things you need to know about the Big Broadstairs Weekend: it’s big, it’s in Broadstairs, and … hold on, this is complicated.
Other things you might like to know about it:
- It’s Abba based (but still might be fun despite that)
- It’s for charity
- You could be part of a world record
It runs from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd May, including world-renowned (possibly) Abba tribute band, Abalicious, on the Friday, a barbecue and film on the beach on Saturday night, and a world record attempt at 1000 people dancing to Dancing Queens on Sunday (yes, really).
The Dancing Queens event is for charity with contributions going to the Royal Marsden and the Special Care Baby Unit at QEQM.
