Apparently, and let’s be fair, you should always be wary of a story on the internet that begins with the word ‘apparently’, anyhow, apparently, we hear that Dev Biswal, top man at the Ambrette, got pulled over coming through customs at Heathrow recently.

Customs officers discovered a large plastic bag of dried weed hidden away in his suitcase which Dev explained was the result of a ‘fact-finding’ visit to India.

What was he fact-finding? Um, fertility menus that wedding couples are served to help with their wedding night. It’s a very rare herb known only to a few Indian chefs.

Yes, of course it is, sir, said the officers as they pulled on the rubber gloves.

PS: We also understand that Dev will be starring in a TV documentary later in the year – unrelated to what is now known as the ‘green channel incident’. Apparently.
