fontaine-open-day

Fontaine, the swish new French furniture showroom in Margate, is having an open day on Sunday 29th May, 11am to 3pm, serving seafood and Bloody Marys (what are people’s views on the plural of Mary?)

Fontaine do furniture, lighting and decorative stuff for the home. You can find them at the Old Laundry on St Johns Road. They have some amazing stuff so it’s well worth popping in.

It’s bothering me now, the plural of Mary.

Definitely “marys”. “Maries” would be the plural of Marie. Who wants a Bloody Marie?

I think a Bloody Marie sounds quite nice, a bit French. Probably got garlic in it.
