So Blink is coming to Margate at the end of August and the organisers are expecting between 5,000 and 10,000 people to watch the firey spectacular. And with all those people milling around Margate, what’s the one thing you’d expect? Yes, rank burger vans lining up on the front. But, apparently, there are no outside concessions for this event, which is pretty spectacular all in itself.
And it’s bound to be an amazing event featuring dance, theatre and the UK’s “most innovative soundscape artist”. In fact, a totally breathtaking and original event… Yes, well, let’s hope it’s a bit more original than the Blink website as we’ve just noticed they’ve pinched a load of photos from us for their About Margate section. Cheeky blighters.
Anyway, for a taster (geddit? Burger, taster, eh?) of Blink:

this is brilliant news, hopefully the rest of us can follow their lead. No more outside consessions and nasty burger and doughnut stands! keep the money in the town. Perhaps the council would like to help out the locals and provide some stalls for businesses in our towns that want to keep the money in the town?
Good news there are plenty of places in Thanet that can serve a burger we should support our local bussinesses.
