BeBeached
Café located on Margate Harbour Arm offering views across the bay and amazing food.
Here vegetarians and meat eaters are catered for with real passion. Ingredients are sourced locally so the menu varies according to season and availability.
It’s brilliant by day for brunch and lunch and then transformed at night into an atmospheric candlelit dining room. With regular live music sessions and a fantastic Sunday roast, it’s definitely a place to visit.

Bebeached – sort yourself out. So far I’ve never found you open and over bank holilday weekend, along with others was shocked that you still weren’t open at 10.30am. Thought you were a cafe. At least the Albion Cafe in Ramsgate can get up in the morning to open up.
It would really help the confused tourists of Margate if you could put your opening hours on display or is that too much effort.
Dear Miss Confused
I am sorry you were let down on the bank holiday
I have tried to put my opening hours up in the window a few times but the condensation makes them fall off . I will endeavour to do it again. For the record I am open from 11am – 4pm Wednesday – Sunday and in the winter Friday and Saturday evenings. I hope you wil pop in to see me – please introduce yourself and I’ll buy you a coffee. I have a brunch menu not a breakfast menu as such and this was careful planning on my part because I am a one man band.

Thank you for the explanation and kind offer. Yes I will pop in and introduce myself.
Glad that’s all sorted out then. IsleOne: bringing people together.
That remains to be seen – the only time I tried this cafe – at lunchtime – chef had popped out to get supplies, and the waitress didn’t know when she was coming back!

At last I’ve managed to have lunch at Bebeached after my previous unsuccessful attempts. Very impressed with all the vegetarian options and the young waitress was very nice.
I would actually score my meal as 9 out of 10. The only reason I didn’t give full marks was because I found the radio to be very loud and a little intrusive. I did see a group of women come in and then walk out again and wonder whether they also felt the radio was too loud to have a proper conversation.
To be honest, with such a lovely outlook I don’t think you need music as the sound of seagulls is much nicer, especially if you are a tourist. Perhaps just restrict the radio to the staff area.
