Following hot on the heels of our disastrous review of last year, we’re making some wild predictions about the future… at least for Broadstairs.
We hear that there are big changes in the pipeline in 2011 for Thanet’s little gem where rumours of the demise of the High Street may be premature. There is (apparently) an organic butcher opening at the top of town (ooooh) and a salon-type coffee house opening on the site of an existing old-style tearoom (oooooooh), near the new French furniture shop (ooooooh la la) that has already opened for business.
And to cap it all, we also understand that there may be some upheaval in the beach kiosk scene with one big name set to move on.
So there you have it, as if you cared less.
