Tom Swift

Friday, March 4th, 2011

In the next couple of months, you’re not going to be able to move in Thanet without bumping into an art exhibition. The latest one is at i Scream and Rock and features Tom Swift, born in Whitstable but now based in Margate.

Tom says: The choice of tools I use – graphite, oil, acrylic and canvas, have evolved over a number of paintings. I enjoy their simplicity, which I then find provides a springboard for inventive mark making – a smudge on a camera lens becomes part of the landscape and the mark making process.

The exhibition runs until the 31st March.
