2 Days Later

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Two Days Later, which is apparently Kent’s biggest short film festival (surely an oxymoron?), is on at the Theatre Royal on October 30th.

This year the festival has over 50 entries (51, to be precise), all of which are short horror films produced over 48 hours. Four of the films have been made in Thanet.

The shorts will be screened in two parts: a matinee from midday and a fancy dress evening screening from 7pm. Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories, including Best Film, Best Writer and Best Performance. The judging panel includes some very prestigious names from the worlds of film and advertising.

You can find out more on the 2 Days Later website.
