Turner Contemporary are running a scheme specifically for people who are unemployed, living in or around Thanet, and interested in working in galleries or museums.
Turner Contemporary’s Art Works programme has 30 places for people who would like to develop the basic skills for working in a gallery or other public-facing role. The aim is to employ at least five of the 30 participants in front of house roles once the gallery is open.
Anyone who is currently unemployed can apply, but 10 of the 30 places will be aged 16 to 18 who are not currently in education, employment or training.
You can find out more on the Turner Contemporary website.
